Describe the Items As You Shoot Photographs

The more you use the system, the smarter it becomes. Auction Camera has memo data fields which allow you to specify descriptive attributes of your item for sale at the same time that you take the photos. Our Digital Inventory Manager software sends data memo field templates from the web to the camera. Describe the item by toggling through the data memo fields within the camera. This makes it great for cataloging a large number of items at one time. The information you entered into the camera's memo field is now contained within the photo that you send - wirelessly from the camera - to your Digital Inventory Manager at my.auctioncamera.com

When you login to Digital Inventory Manager your photos are organized by their sequential item numbers, automatically renamed to that item number, rotated & resized, watermarked with your seller name for display on the web, and then hosted and ready for listing online.

No Need to Purchase a Seperate Bar Code Scanner

A bar code reader with equivalent quality and performance costs $299 and up. The Ricoh 500SE-W reads and captures bar code data through the lens of the camera. Using this feature, the unique inventory item number is attached to the photos using the same piece of hardware in your hands. Read ISBN codes on books, and UPC codes found on everything else, and capture the item specifications for use on your resale site or your eBay auction listing.

Vivid 1cm Macro Photography

Capture items as close as 1cm away in the macro wide-angle mode or 10cm away in the tele-macro mode. Great for capturing those details your customers want to see. The built-in flash unit illuminates subjects as close as 20cm from the camera.

Wide Angle Lens

The wide angle lens gives this camera great wide area photos without having to be a long distance from your subject, while still giving great macro performance down to 1/2 inch away. The camera is waterproof & ruggedized to protect against damage.

Wireless b / g Built Into the Camera

The Camera connects wirelessly and directly to your online inventory maintained at my.auctioncamera.com. The need to upload photos to your desktop is eliminated as this camera sends all the data to your inventory catalog directly though your wireless router at 802.11g/b speeds.
